Along the 27kms of coastline there are an amazing 23 beaches, all offering something different, from restaurants to water sports.
But what are the top beaches that you should visit whilst here?
If you are looking for a great beach near to the centre of Marbella, with good music and a relaxed atmosphere, then this might be the place for you. It’s a pretty cool spot to catch some rays and then afterwards take a stroll back into the Old Town.
At the beginning of Los Monteros and close to Bounty Beach, you will find the beautiful Playa de Rio Real. Again, this beach is close to central Marbella.
Playa de Alicate is one of the more popular choices with residents and those holidaying. With its long and sandy beaches, you will find everything you need to keep you or your family occupied.
East just off the El Rosario exit, you will find a beach that really lives up to its name – Playa Hermosa. This is a wonderful spot and just under 15 minutes away from central Marbella.
If you are looking for some fantastic chiringuitos (beach restaurants), then Playa Real de Zaragoza is for you. If features fine, golden sand and clean waters.
We couldn’t leave out Nikki Beach Marbella. This place needs no introduction, as it is well known throughout the world for its parties and afluent guests. If you want to lounge in style, with champagne and amazing food, then look no further.
Close to the picture-perfect Cabopino port, you will find a wonderful beach and Las Dunas de Artola national park. The combination make for a fantastic day out; it comes as no surprise why this is fast becoming a more popular stop for tourists.
Playa Fontanilla is easily one of Marbella’s nicer city beaches. Close to the centre of Marbella, it is very popular amongst locals and tourists.
Close to Marbella’s Golden Mile, Playa de Nagueles offers clear waters and golden beaches. This beautiful atmosphere is draped in the exclusivity that one would expect from a prestigious area such as is.
Playa de Nueva Andalucia offers a much different experience to those beaches closer to Marbella. Being situated closer to Puerto Banus, more of the glamour and glitz seems to be present.
